Ripley's Haunted Adventure extends the thrills of Halloween to a year-round horror show that features live actors and animatronic scaries. After riding a steel-cage elevator to the top floor of the gore emporium, visitors are left to their own devices, either to escape by stumbling through the inky, bloodstained halls or by filibustering ghouls until they fall asleep. The interactive Guinness World Records Museum presents fascinating artifacts, exhibits, and videos in 16 galleries with themes such as achievement, sports, and entertainment. A blend of thrill ride and arcade game, the Tomb Rider 3-D attraction leads riders into the tomb of the Egyptian god Anubis, arming them with handheld laser guns for defending themselves against various monsters and mummies.
