UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE AND SELFISH! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR SPECIAL EVENT!
The rental of a Photo Booth typical coincides with a special occasion. My situation was exactly that, as my wife and I retained the services of PhotoBot for our wedding on March 19th, 2016. The rental was booked in October of 2015 and follow-up was done several times prior to the event, including the week before our wedding.
Not only did PhotoBot not show up to the wedding, they didn't even have the decency to contact us to let us know they would not show up. They were scheduled to begin taking pictures at 9pm and by 8:15, our wedding planner had to call them at which point they mentioned that their son had Pneumonia and they would not be making it. If that was the case, they would have absolutely known this well in advance, however they decided to basically just "leave us in the dark" and not give us 24 hours so we could have attempted to scramble and find another PhotoBooth. They also provided a completely different excuse to my Step Mother a few days later, indicating that it was not their son who was sick, it was both the Photo takers that were ill.
I paid them in full months prior to the event, and Mike Moran one of the co-owners didn't have the decency to pick up the phone and call me afterwards. He did refund my money and sent me an email the following day, however that is minimal compensation and will never make up for bailing on us during one of the most important nights of our lives. Our guests were prompted at 8pm that the PhotoBooth would be arriving soon, so had this coward picked up the phone to advise us, we obviously would not have announced it to our 280+ guests.
I typically do not write reviews, however I really wanted to advise anyone who is looking for a PhotoBooth to AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs. It was the only flaw in our wedding and could have easily been avoided had they had to common courtesy of giving us 24-48 hrs notice rather than simply not showing up. (Our wedding planner had to call them 45 minutes before their scheduled start time to find out they weren't coming)
I can't express how disappointed my friends and family were to not have had the opportunity to receive the service we paid for.
