the shipping link added as reply to many inquiries (no need to keep printing SAME question, one suffices) does NOT work. Furthermore when one goes to company website, also no obvious link to click to get clear info. on shipping costs. (must NOT be good to make it THIS difficult to locate simple necessary information). Please fix (good to check link to check for it being operational before inserting into reply)

When I buy this groupon, I will have $35 to spend on Picaboo, correct? The prices listed are $12, $19, $29 for different albums, shipping is mot included. What will happen to the rest money? Can I add additional pages to my album 0,49 to make it $35 worth? Not sure why groupon value is hiher than the value of product. Am I missing smth?

It seems like you may have looked at the list price of $35 on the $12 deal. There are three versions of the offer available:
$12 for one 8"x8" photo book (a $34.99 value)
$19 for one 12"x12" or 11"x14" photo book (a $59.99 value)
$29 for two 8.5"x11" photo books (a $79.98 value)
Each offer includes the book with 20 pages. You can certainly add more pages if you like.
The price of additional page varies depending on the size of book you're creating, from $0.99 per page in an 8x8 book to $1.49 per page in an 11x14 or 12x12 book. You can view all photo book and extra page pricing here. Hope this helps!

Do you have any style albums that are vertical 8 1/2 x 11, or will accomated a typed page from a typical computer word document size and layout. Landscape 8 1/2 x 11 would mean you have to turn the book side ways to read the copy...correct? Janet

Our 8.5"x11" photo books are landscape. We do not offer portrait styles at this time. If you have already typed text you would like to include in your book, you can copy and paste it from a Word document into caption boxes in Picaboo.

I asked about printed 8 1/2 x11 pages being put on a full page in the Picaboo books. Do the TEMPLATES into which I would drop the printed page allow for the full size of my page to be shown and printed. Thus I would end up with a book with only type and very very few photos. so many of the templates are smaller for limited text or photos. My question is really about the template size for each page rather than the scanning size. Janet

Hi Janet,
Sorry for the confusion. You can either use the preset templates in the software or create your own. If you create your own pages using software outside of Picaboo, you need to make them full page bleeds at the dimensions I mentioned in response to your previous question. I have about 90 pages of typed personal letters and some photos ( but very few) that I would like to have printed and bound into a book. The letters are printed on 8/12 x 11 sized regular paper and have all been scanned. Most of the bound books accept on photos for dropping into templates that are smaller that a full size page of a book. If I drop the written words into these templates, the type in the letters becomes so small you can hardly read it. Does your book allow just printin the full size paper for each book page, so as not to reduce the type size and become impossible to read easily. Thanks- janet

Hi Janet,
You can definitely include scanned images in your Picaboo book. To convert printed photos and other materials into digital images for use in Picaboo, scan them at 300 dpi or more, and save them as high-quality JPG or PNG files. You will then be able to import these scanned images into Picaboo for use as photos and backgrounds. For best results, crop any white area out of scanned images in an external program (such as Microsoft Paint) before importing to Picaboo.
When creating custom full bleed pages in an external image editor, be sure the page size is set for the size book you intend to create in Picaboo. You can view all photo book recommended page size and resolutions here. Hope this helps!
