Like fine marble statues, human bodies must be touched up on a regular basis lest their surfaces dull, their north sides moss, and their forearms fall off. Lavish your life vehicle with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $29 for a consultation and one 60-minute acupuncture session (a $285 value)
  • $39 for a consultation and two 60-minute acupuncture sessions (a $370 value)

The thorough consultation includes a discussion with the patient to pinpoint pain, weaknesses, and problem areas and to create a plan based on the best treatment options.

Pinnacle Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine

Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Daniel L. Rasmussen employs several traditional Chinese medical techniques that aim to treat pain and restore proper function to bodily systems. Rasmussen specializes in a method of acupuncture called I Ching, a 2,500-year-old practice that involves the insertion of small needles at key points on the body to stimulate natural healing functions, such as endorphin production. On their first visit, patients discuss their concerns and the therapist makes a pulse and tongue diagnosis to pinpoint the root of the dysfunction. Maladies could include migraines, tennis elbow, or insomnia. Rasmussen then uses this information to craft a personal treatment plan that can involve acupuncture but also can involve cupping, electrostimulation, or a stirring rendition of "Cheer Up Charlie."

The Groupon Guide to: Valentine's Day Leftovers

For some people, the most difficult thing about Valentine's Day is deciding what to do with all the leftovers. Here are some suggestions of what to do with the day-after detritus:

  • Melt down chocolates and put them in little ghost-shaped molds to start stocking up for Halloween.

  • Once roses start to wilt and dry out, use their thorns to make devil horns for a naughty dog or precocious toddler.

  • Diamond shavings are glitter.

  • Recycle a Valentine's Day card by crossing out the part that says "Lisa, I will always love you. You are my angel and my strength" and writing "Deepest sympathies on the anniversary of your terrible comeuppance!"

  • Leftover candy hearts? More like delicious croutons!

Sweet croutons, this salad is good!
