Choose Between Two Options

  • $20 for two introductory group fencing lessons (a $40 value)
  • $59 for an eight-session fencing course (a $125 value)

Before beginning their lessons, all students must pay a $5 membership fee required to become a noncompetitive member of the USA Fencing. Join or renew a membership here.

Both options include the use of all necessary equipment, though participants should bring sweatpants and sneakers. For the eight-session course, customers can choose from an introductory fencing course, an adults-only fencing course, or an historical fencing course. Learn more about the courses here.

Pioneer Valley Fencing Academy

Decorated coaches share the sport of fencing with first-time students and veteran duelists on Pioneer Valley Fencing Academy’s polished lanes. The instructors specialize in a variety of fencing disciplines, and a majority of them have speared their way through lofty certifications. Throughout the years, that experience has helped produce students who have competed in 12 different states, from local events to national championships and public readings of The Three Musketeers. Today, the academy offers classes in different disciplines throughout the week, with specific programs geared toward adults and children.
