The car replaced the horse as man's preferred transportation, just as horses replaced walking, and walking replaced getting dragged away by a predatory beast. Hitch a ride with this Groupon.

Pittsburgh International Auto Show

The annual Pittsburgh International Auto Show brings brand-new cars and auto enthusiasts together for four days of gazing and gear talk. An expansive layout of sparkling domestic and exotic international rides unfurls within the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, where show-goers can snap pictures with the auto industry’s latest crop of carriages. Daily events keep attendants abreast of new, innovative technologies and reveal how automakers fit live horses into today’s car engines. The Pittsburgh International Auto Show also keeps youngsters occupied with kid-focused entertainment like the SimZilla extreme racing simulator and a NASCAR racing simulator Hank the interactive robot. For those who are not-so automotively enthused, there are plenty of other forms of entertainment including a 30 ft. ultimate gaming experience trailer, spa treatments, car raffles, and tons of other giveaways and attractions. Discount parking and free shuttles from Smallman St. in The Strip are also available.

The Groupon Guide to: Choosing a Jersey Number

Professional athletes are faced with many difficult decisions, such as choosing to which charity to donate their entire salary or settling on a jersey number. If you get picked to play big ball with the big boys and big girls, use these helpful tips for selecting your definitive digits:

  • Choose a number that has meaning to you, such as the number of teeth inside your mouth.

  • Go with a number that gives you an interesting story to tell the sports reporters whenever they ask you "Hey champ, could you tell us why you picked that uniform number again?" This number could be the amount of people you'd kiss if you had no respect for personal boundaries.

  • Pick a random number, such as 9 or maybe even 10. It's up to you as long as it's either 9 or 10!

  • No one has ever gotten away with a three-digit number … yet.

  • Do you have a lucky number? If you don't, you should choose one now because you'll need one—most professional athletes have incredibly short careers and aren't qualified to do anything else.

Did Shaquille O'Neal choose number 32 because that was the number of teeth he had at the time? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
