$47 for Winter Golf Instruction ($95 Value)

Choose from the following:

  • One one-hour small-group golf class and one one-hour putting clinic
  • Three one-hour golf clinics for more advanced players—one clinic each on putting, the short game, and the long game, using 5-irons through drivers
  • One nine-hole, small-group round of simulated golf with instruction (available weekends at 3:30 p.m. at White Pines Golf Dome in Bensenville)

Golf classes (weekends at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.; Wednesdays at noon and 1 p.m.) start groups of up to six students on learning game and swing fundamentals from the ground up, whereas clinics (weekends at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.) work to polish a particular facet of the game. With all options, students get unlimited golf balls, free club rental, and complimentary water, coffee, or soda.

Play Golf and Tennis

Play Golf and Tennis's instructors help students hone forehands and chips throughout the year. Aspirant tennis players and golfers improve their game at the Diversey Driving Range and the Hamlin Park tennis courts in the summer, and on Mars in the event of a planetary evacuation. Players learn either sport under the direction of renowned golf and tennis professional Ron Carroll, or work on executing perfect turns in a nonfunctioning golf cart with instructor-supplied engine noises.
