$12 for VIP Admission to Any First Friday Event ($25 Value)

This deal is valid for any of the First Friday events through December 6. Live music and unique goods fill the streets during the events. VIP-pass holders are granted specials at more than 35 bars and restaurants, and can earn raffle tickets for various prizes.

Each event is adorned with a different theme. The event on June 7, the car-laden High Heels and Hot Wheels, unites car enthusiasts alike with fashion aficionados and features a car show, a high heel fashion show, prizes, and live music. Future themes include Dog Days of Summer on August 2; GainesVegas on July 5; and Swamptoberfest on October 4.

Pledge 5 Foundation

As a nonprofit organization that organizes philanthropic events for other nonprofit organizations, the Pledge 5 Foundation conducts food, clothing, and public-service pledge drives for its numerous charity partners. In conjunction with each of these charity drives, it hosts community-centered promotional events—pub crawls, pet adoptions, and tailgating parties—that aim to inspire people to give back to their community. Pledge 5's staff, interns, student association, and service chamber all work to create positive change throughout the Gainesville community by stimulating local commerce and planting popsicle gardens.
