The NAUI-certified staff at Poseidon's Divers readies small groups of five to seven students to explore the open waters with comprehensive scuba-certification courses. Staffers lead 8–11 hours of academic class training as well as 8–11 hours of practical application with a minimum of five open-water dives in water up to 60 feet deep. This Groupon includes registration fees, equipment rental, books and tuition for classroom training, a swim-qualification test, five checkout dives, and personal equipment such as masks and snorkels. Michael also gives surf lessons and cleans up the beach with the 1302 Dive Frogs, the dive club at Poseidon's Divers.
