Choose Between Two Options

  • $49 for a pet portrait shoot, review session, and one 8”x10” custom print (a $250 value)
  • $99 for the above option with three 8”x10” custom prints (a $350 value)

Shoots typically average about an hour, include three to four background changes, and accommodate all of an owner’s pets. About 7–10 days after the shoot, buyers schedule an in-person review session to choose prints. The prints may then take up eight weeks before they are ready, as each image is custom enhanced to create a keepsake. Appointments are Tuesday through Friday; Saturday and Sunday appointments are only available with a minimum order requirement.

Heather Lussier admits she used to prefer cats. That changed when her six-year-old son begged her for a puppy. Enter Kali, a beagle named after the Hindu goddess of destruction and who relished living up to that name. But after some training for both Heather and Kali, the beagle became the most behaved member of the family. Not long after, Heather added to the pack by adopting two rescues.

It didn’t take long for Heather to incorporate her newfound puppy love into her profession. She is one of fewer than 2,500 certified professional photographers worldwide, with credentials such as photographing the Dalai Lama and having her work exhibited exclusively in the Adobe Animal Hospital. When she isn’t commanding humans to “sit,” “stay,” and “roll over” for magazine-quality photo shoots, Heather serves as the principle photographer at Posh Pooch Portraits, capturing vivid, close-up images of beloved animals through in-studio and on-location shoots. A devoted yoga practitioner, Heather demonstrates calm, centered energy to earn pets’ trust and bring out their most photogenic sides. One of the great risks of traveling the computer highway is contracting the computer virus. If you receive an email with a suspicious link, read this now:

  • Click on the link. If it takes you to a site that boasts Miracle Weight Loss Chowder or Grow Hair Everywhere Even Inside and Never Wonder Why, this is probably not a virus, just a helpful suggestion from a concerned friend.

  • If it is a virus, email the person who sent it to you. Ask if they meant to spam you. Chances are they were actually trying to get rid of a virus by sending it to trash@garbagemail.net and just typed your name by accident.

  • Turn on your computer's spam-blocking filter. This will automatically get rid of any email that isn't from a blood relative, parole officer, or shoe website with wonderful sale prices.

  • Get offline for a while. The best way to escape from a computer virus is to unplug, disconnect, and spend a few weeks shouting your feelings at neighbors instead of pouring them into an uncaring, soulless social network.
