I work retail and I will not be able to get a Saturday off until January now for the Concealed Carry Permit . Do you guys do one that is on a weekday since that is when I am off?

Due to popular demand we offer classes on Sat's. However, we offer private weekday classes if we have 5 students or more in the group. We have the classes scheduled for Nov and Dec. as follows: 03 Nov, 17 Nov, 01 Dec, 15 Dec. We are still working on the 2013 schedule and should have complete soon. Hopefully, you can schedule 30+ days out and reserve one of our upcoming classes.

I would like to purchase the concealed carry class for myself and my daughter. She does not turn 21 until mid November. Your schedule does not list any classes past November. Will you be adding more classes to the schedule?

Yes, our CCH classes for Nov. and Dec. are as follows: 3 Nov, 17 Nov, 1 Dec., 15 Dec. We typically update the classes every 30 days so more classes will be posted soon. We will also be posting classes for 2013. We look forward to meeting you in the class.

How long are the concealed carry permits good for? Do they ever expire?

Practical Arms issues a certificate of completion after taking our 8 hour firearm class. The certificate of completion is surrendered to the local Sheriffs office to obtain your concealed carry permit. The conceal carry permit is valid for 5 years. It can be renewed upon paying the renewal fee to the local Sheriff.

Hello, Can you tell me where the classroom training is held, and what shooting range is used? Are there a wide selection of guns available for rent? I have not decided which gun I wish to buy, and would like to take more time trying different ones. Therefore I would need to rent a medium to full size gun for the class, preferably a 22 caliber since there would be less recoil and easier to shoot. Also, do standard vision correction glasses meet the requirement for eye protection? What would be the additional charge for gun/ammo rental only? Thank you for the additional information. Wayne.

The class room portion of the class is held at Bass Pro Shop, Concord Mills Mall. The range time is conducted at a private range in Concord. We discuss firearms options (pros & cons) to help the student make an informed decision before purchasing a firearm. We suggest at 22 cal firearm for beginners and offer these in our rental package for $25.00 p/range session. Please bring your correct glasses for shooting. We offer protective glasses to go over presciption glasses for safety. Look forward to seeing you in an upcoming class.

The class room portion of the class is held in a private class room at Bass Pro Shop, Concord Mills Mall. The range portion is conducted at a private range in Concord. Directions and additional information is provided upon registering for the class.

To clarify please The class is $69 plus an additonal $90 for NC fee processing totalling $158 correct

The $69 is for the firearm class conducted by Practical Arms. The $90 processing fee is provided to the local Sherriffs office when you apply for the concealed carry permit. Combined this would a total of $159.00.

Due to popular demand the majority of our classes are held on Saturdays. The exception to this would be for private classes. Additional information including the dates, times and specfics of all classes can be found on the website: www.practicalarms.com.
