During Hatha yoga classes, experienced instructors teach students to perform an Ashtanga posture series at a moderate pace. They focus on yoga’s healing power during therapeutic Wall classes as they lead students through poses that lengthen joints and loosen tight muscles. Alternatively, students learn complex movements and challenge their core muscles during Power yoga classes on the Yoga Wall. See the class schedule.

During three-hour Introduction to Classical Yoga workshop, instructors draw from both the Ashtanga and Hatha traditions to teach proper breath control, pose alignments, and concepts essential to a beneficial yoga practice. This workshop is suitable for students of all experience levels, from complete novices to advanced students who need a refresher. Workshops take place on January 13 at 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. and March 10 at a time yet to be determined.

At Practice Yoga, a nimble-limbed team of instructors marries ancient and modern techniques while emphasizing meditative focus and body awareness. During Hatha and Ashtanga classes, they dole out personal corrections and encourage students to break through their own perceived physical barriers, which is a much more realistic goal than breaking through someone else's very real shark-guarded barriers. To boost the flexibility and strength of more advanced and adventurous yogis, they turn to a precisely engineered, customizable yoga wall, which boasts numerous suspension straps and latches designed to help students ease back pain, carve out stronger cores, and bolster flexibility as they perform headstands and curl their way through crunches.
