For more than 30 years, Murphy Pierson of Puget Sound Sports Fishing has led year-round, saltwater-fishing excursions to help sport enthusiasts' sight, hook, and catch trophy-worthy fish. Surrounded by sweeping aquatic vistas, guests cast a provided line into the Edmonds-nestled waterways and attract the gaze of a powerful king salmon, coho, or blackmouth, depending on the season. Seasoned staff cleans and bags fish caught on the expedition, freeing guests to enjoy cool fresh air and gentle ocean spray without taking a job refurbishing waterfalls. Fishing folk depart from Edmonds for more wavy surroundings and cruise across the water in morning or afternoon sessions. Though the usual $80 deposit is waived for Groupon customers, all individuals must purchase a fishing license ($10) to safeguard against game-warden penalties and stern reprimands from scuba-diving watchmen.
