- $49 for one alpha, beta, or lactic-acid chemical peel (a $105 value)
A skin analysis kicks off each facial and peel. During facials, the aesthetician starts with a deep cleanse and an enzymatic exfoliation, creating a clean slate for the rest of the treatment. Face, neck, and shoulder massages relax clients before the aesthetician performs any necessary extractions and applies targeted treatment serums and masks. Afterward, she lets clients know how to keep their faces radiant with personalized home-care prescriptions. Peels slough off dead skin cells for a brighter, more even complexion. Pure Derma Concepts
About two decades ago, Kymberly Blawn began her skincare career as a beauty advisor for Lancôme. She then moved on to work for Shiseido, Prescriptives, and Chanel but soon realized that she couldn't help people with acne, rosacea, and other challenging skin types the way she wanted to. To do this, she had to go back to school, where she got her aesthetician’s license while working alongside a med-spa physician.
Today, she cares for skin with services including body sugaring and custom facials with paraben- and preservative-free Sanítas Skincare and organic Skin Fitness products. Her specialty, though, is chemical peels, which range from gentler alpha and beta peels to more potent modified Jessner's and TCA/salicylic-acid chemical peels. These take off several layers of skin to reveal the smoother skin or robot skeleton underneath.
