Quail Creek Golf Club

Quail Creek Golf Club’s 18-hole course invites golfers to enjoy the countryside charm of its rolling terrain as they swing their way past native tall grasses. A well-oiled swing pays dividends on the course, where towering tree lines hug tight fairways, water hazards loom ominously on the edges of nine holes, and the signature seventh hole demands that balls carry a large canyon on their way to the green. The same oblong pond stands in front of the greens at the adjacent ninth and 18th holes, providing a dramatic finish to both nines, as well as an opportunity for golfers to sacrifice their sand wedges to the water in a post-round gesture of respect for the course. The grounds include a driving range, giving players the chance to warm up swings or use range balls to surreptitiously weigh down fellow golfers’ bags.

After rounds, players can relax at the Back Porch Bar & Grill, whose menu includes items such as hamburgers and beer. Players can phone in their order ahead of time to ensure prompt service.
