I am interested in the full Fractional laser treatment. I had this treatment done (my first one) 7 months ago at my dermatology office and was very happy with the results. I was told 2-3 treatments acheive the best results. Is this true, and how far apart should they be?

Is the procedure painful & if so do you use a numbing cream. Is there any down time? How long? and what type of recovery ?

We don't usually use a numbing cream as it's not too painful. The IPL doesn't usually have any downtime and the fractional can be anywhere from 24 hours to 3-4 days of redness and possibly a little swelling.

Would IPL be ideal for broken capilaries around my nose? My skin is fair, the broken capilaries are not extreme, but noticable enough to me because of the redness is creates around my nostrils and top of nose. Is it possible that one might only need 1 session?

The IPl is great for treating broken capilaries and redness. One treatment will help but each person is different and it may require a couple more treatments. We would be happy to consult with you when we you come in and see what would be best for you.
