We have combined a trip to the drive-in movie theater in Milford (which is about a half hour away) with an overnight stay in Nashua. The kids loved it! Also, there is a pretty built up commercial area with malls and restaurants on route 3 that should give you some options, as well.
When are answerers given for above comments? Many are the same questions I have.

Each GroupOn is for a one night stay, thus purchasing 2 GroupOn tickets would be for two nights…and so on.

2. You can stay multiple nights sure, just buy how many you want and call Claude @ the hotel to book.
3. An Executive Room is our Standard room type, plenty available….

We prefer you call the hotel ( patiently) today if you can also, we are getting a great response and are equipped to take your reservations. PLEASE NOTE you need to bring your GROUPON booking after you buy it to the hotel with you & Tax/TIP/Alcohol is not included like any other Groupon offer…

oops….that should read: what happens if I buy the Groupon today; and I call the hotel tomorrow and those dates are not available? Can I get a refund from Groupon?
I just phoned the hotel (patiently, as suggested) as was told: reservations under the groupon cannot be booked until tomorrow; they usually do not allow 4 people in the executive room for fire code reasons (the groupon clearly say otherwise); and they have no real answers to my questions until tomorrow (such as whether the groupon can be put toward a room other than the executive). I wanted to find some things out because we have visitors next week and I thought it would be a nice treat for all of us, in 2 rooms … when I explained this, and stated I checked availability and there is only one executive room for the night I want, I was first told “well there is one king bed and a sofa bed in the executive rooms” but in the next breath “we can’t book 4 due to the fire code”. I haven’t decided, but am not sure I will commit myself to the groupon today when I won’t know until tomorrow whether the 2nd room will work out.

hi, yes with quite a few block out weekends in the fall and have to use by december what happens if we can’t get the dates we want. there is no doubt that most people are going to want saturday nights or weekends. if weekends are sold out by the time we call will you honor another weekend or are we stuck with weekdays? some of us cant pick a day/weekend to come up just yet as we have to check our schedules with our families /friends to pick a date. thanks!

Hi, We are 3 Adults and 2 kids ( since we are total of 5 ). Do you allow in 1 executive room?
Possible to just reserve online and then bring the groupon on the date of your reservation? Would make it a LOT easier for you at the hotel.
@Carol, groupon is really good at refunding the price of the groupon if you were unable to use it because of problems with the company being able to provide you available dates. Also, the executive room seems to be their main rooms, which means out of their 336 rooms, at least 150-250 of those are going to be available with this deal. So, even if they sell 5000 of these groupons, have 150 rooms available, it would only take 33 days for all of them to be used up. Now, there’s 19 weekends left in the year. Which means there’s total of 38 weekend days you can select from. Even with the few blackout days they have, there would be more then enough days. I also doubt they are going to sell quite that many. =P

constance – It usually takes up to 24 hours to process. You should receive an email when it’s done. However, you can go ahead and make a reservation regardless of whether or not it’s processing.

How many executive rooms do you have? You said there are plenty. However none of the dates I called has any available. Online reservation does show rooms available. I hope this deal is not for weekday only.
Yeah I made the mistake of getting two. Wanted to book a nice getaway for my husband and myself. There are NO rooms available for the night of August 21st FYI. They would not allow me to pay for an upgrade to whatever room was available so I just shelled out $109 for a room. So now instead of $150 I’ve spent $259 and only get one free dinner. I was crying on the phone. Not too happy right now… :-(
PS: I realize I should have called ahead to see if the dates were available, but I really thought I’d be able to pay for an upgrade as well…

To Steve/Radisson — I am still excited about our stay. A suggestion though – perhaps next time you should enlist some extra phone support. I was disconnected the first time (after being on hold) and the second woman I spoke too sounded as if she had just rolled out of bed and really didn’t want to be talking to me. I’m sure this is a challenge of a day but tell your people to cheer up! You can tell a lot from a voice on a phone.

I placed my order then cancelled it because I wanted 2 nights instead of 1. I then cancelled it again because it looked like I had 3 nights and rebooked the 2 nights…..now I’m really confused!!!! How do I know my cancellation really worked!!

Just got a room for 9/24. Remember, when you’re making a reservation, it’s easier to get one further out. Dates this month are already likely to be booked just from normal hotel reservations. Add on all the earlybirds that already called today and the likelyhood is that they will be booked. Just remember, you have till Dec 30th, so plenty of time.
Steve, you should tell your help they’re getting overtime. Might cheer them up a bit more. =P I feel bad about the amount of phone calls they must be taking.

I called the hotel in Nashua at 1-603-888-9970 and no one answere after many rings, had to call the main number and checked on avaialbility for October 23 to the 24th and not available to use with the groupon however I tried for a room during the weekday and it was available it seems that this is not good on the weekend but only the weekday is this so?

As long as you’re a little flexible you will be able to find a date that will work for you. For a saving of $168.00 how can anyone complain!

Actually, the odds are pretty good since the hotel has over 300 rooms and there are four and a half months until the groupon expires and only a few blackout dates.
We made our reservations not that long ago and had no problem at all.
Jennifer- who did you speak with to make your reservation? I just tried calling but got no where but transferred back to the automated directory.

They do not ask for a Groupon coupon # you just need to bring it with you when you go.
It took a little while for them to process my credit card they are probably very busy. It should tell you if it is still processing. Just called and made my reservations for a weekend in Sept. It was very easy and they were very nice. Only place I could find an updated menu for Granite Bistro was on restaurant.com. If you google Granite Bistro the old Sheraton menu comes up.
Just called 5 minutes ago and had no problem. The woman on the phone was very accommodating. I was able to get a room with a king bed the last weekend in October.

Also cool that Steve answers all the questions, even when it gets redundant. But no one is answering the questions about response time from Groupon. My purchase “is being processed”… and has been since about noon today (it is now 8:30 p.m.). This is my first Groupon purchase – can anyone confirm that you get something from Groupon that you can actually print and take to Radisson?

That’s great news, but can anyone please address the issue of the problem with the confirmations for those who have been waiting since Friday for their orders to be processed.? I have sent a message to support@groupon.com but feel a bit like I am in limbo on this. I am a first time grouper, 62 yrs. old and was feeling kind of “hip” for a little while. I don’t feel so “hip” at the moment.

The room itself was fine, although they were out of king rooms so we got 2 doubles. Not ideal but this was pretty last minute so no biggie.
We had dinner at the Granite Bistro which was severely understaffed and not prepared to handle the volume of customers. Everyone around us were very restless from all the waiting. I really didn’t enjoy the food. A thick layer of brown mustard on salmon? It didn’t mention mustard at all on the menu. We never got the rolls we asked for, or refills on our waters. We took our desserts back to the room and had been given the wrong ones. We were near the front of the restaurant and kept smelling cigarette smoke which ruined our appetites.
Aside from the food. Our room (6th floor) was adjoined to the one next to us. The people in that room were very loud and we could hear everything they were saying. This was at midnight. We called the front desk to complain and they sent someone up right away to speak with them, which was great. Then moments later the people in that room tried opening our adjoining door and succeeded! You can imagine how stunned we were that they would even try to do that and that the doors were not better secured.
We called the front desk again to tell them what just happened and the person who told them to quiet down came back and spoke with them again. Those people seemed to leave for a while but we were awoken again by 4am when they were going in and out of their door letting it slam each time. Not to mention they were actually not being loud anymore but we could still hear everything they were saying (and doing) which unfortunately for us was being able to hear in detail them being “intimate”. Not fun!
We honestly felt like we were in the same room as them. No privacy. We had the worst night’s sleep.
We are just disappointed. We jumped on the chance at this great deal and were able to take advantage of it for our anniversary and I wish we had just stayed home.
I spoke with a front desk agent this morning as we were leaving and explained the situation. He was very nice but was not able to help us but said he would have the GM Steve give me a call. I hope to hear from him.

OMG, that sounds awful. I also purchased a deal for my anniversary and am having a slight panic attack. I have not booked yet and am rethinking. My husband and I haven’t gone away alone in years and I wanted this to be special. Can any one let me know if this was just a fluke or is this the norm?
Guys: I have already spoken to Lisa and am surprised this essay appeared, let me jump in here: 1. Smoking is not allowed in any lobby or public areas. 2. If you prefer not to have dinner in our restaurant then you may feel free to email me to use your stay for lunch or breakfast or a second night and skip the restaurant.
Mary: No panic attacks, we are the biggest hotel in New Hampshire and do have other groups in the hotel @ some weekends, this was a Moose Convention weekend so therefore in the future, email and we can tell you what else is going on before you book. For example next weekend is weddings. Tonite we have 40 group on guests in and that means 80 on the package…No Moose in sight.

Above you can see that i merely mentioned my disappointment with my stay. I did not go into detail until asked specifically to do so.
Also, I didn’t see any smoking going on inside the hotel. However, the smoke from outside seems to waft inside and make it into the dining room (or at least the front of it where we were seated).
I kinda assumed, but I should probably ask. I’m guessing the restaurant is able to handle food allergies? I’m likely going to go with something a little more plan, such as the salmon or steak, but just wanted to make sure it’d be cooked safely to prevent cross contamination.
Also, just wanted to say thanks to you Steve for answering all the questions. You and everyone else at Radisson seem to be trying everything you can to ensure the best visit possible. I just wish I had known you were going to extend the date for another year, as I would have definitely purchased a few more groupons. =P
I must say this Restaurant and Hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Five minutes from Downtown Nashua and a great Groupon Deal. Great rate and very, very clean. The rooms are extremely comfortable. Any hotel that uses “white” bed covers that would show off any dirt or stain is clearly demonstrating that they take cleanliness seriously and I challenge any other hotel to do the same….instead of dark, floral print bed spreads that are so dark you don’t know what’s on them. This hotel features a castle feel. The food here is outstanding. The staff will bend over backwards for you. We too were on our anniversary and wanting a great, unbelievable price in this economy!
They do use very comfortable Down Lite comforters that are just right. However, should you be allergic to Down you need only tell them that and they will change to an alternate to Down that will be ready for you upon your arrival. Great food and best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. We did not hear neighbors btw.
This is my number1 pick for sure and I will return there as long as they have available rooms on my chosen arrival dates. Priced perfectly and six more groupon’s to gift out :)!

I cant say enough about how much we loved this hotel. First, weneeded to change our resverations instead of with Groupon and were able to with out a problem or change in cost. We have used Groupon for vactions to book elsewhere and they were not consistent. At this castle there are 2 dining areas that are available for all guests. Loved the food, the drinks, the Spa, and especially the people! The staff was so wonderful and nice. The grounds are beautiful and clean and so was my room on 6 of course. A tip: gratuity is on the price of the meal and the waiter has to tell you what it would be…its worth it – clearly this hotel wants to be a hit with this although it was busy anyway!

Just met TWO SISTERS ANTIQUES of MEDFORD MA, here on GROUPON. They suggested we have a GROUPON Weekend, we agree! Lets scheme a weekend in January or December even and have all GROUPONS IN!
We stayed last night. Room was nice but some truck kept backing up last night and it kept waking us up. We were on the 7th floor.
Dinner….where do I start. Maybe a one star restaurant. The table was rocky so we were moved to a new table. The manager filled our water glasses and there were big dirt pieces floating around so she brought us new water. 15 minutes to have someone come to our table. Food was warm, the server had to run down to the bar to get drinks which made for a long wait time. Desert had come from a box, ice cream looked like it had been left out and the refrozen, we had 3 scoops of soupy ice cream. I come from the hospitality industry and this was more than unacceptable.

Looks like this restaurant needs much improvement, but I can’t understand why this hasn’t happened sooner, since you have conferences staying there. I hope I will not be disappointed, because when I get a bad meal or hotel room, anywhere, the world knows about it.

Didn’t quite understand that “motel” message, but based on the restaurant reviews, I’m sure you can see why I hope that there is much improvement; especially of the “dirt” floating in the water glasses. I would not have asked for the water to be replaced, I would have left the restaurant. That is too big of an issue to even place a food order. And when I have a great meal, I also tell everyone!

Let me chime in – My wife and I celebrated our 50th anniversary last night, midweek because I am unemployed and avoid the crowds! this groupon deal is a lifesaver…we had dinner and it was delicious. I had the salmon and my wife had the flatiron steak. Our waitress Sharon was wonderful, and there is nothing for me to pick apart. I know taste is up to eachs own but we loved it so much we are coming back over thanksgiving. Please dont change a thing about this package and thank you very much for outstanding restaurant experience that we saw everyone enjoying. albeit, only about 50 people in there, not 150. A busy night may be different. Kudos to the manager who knew we were on our anniversary and had us blushing!
We bought a bunch of these “to die for” deals. I have already stayed sat. & Sun with my boyfriend and was so pleased. My sister and I checked in Tues and wed and we were welcomed like we were old friends. The team that runs the hotel are great!!! The food and service was fabulous! We had friends visit us at the hotel and so far have had the steak, the chicken, the pizza the ice cream, the chicken wings, bruschetta (to die for). No complaints. Well one complaint is that we don’t want to leave. So in fact we added another night, last minute. Thank you for the great deal and fantastic hospitality. The staff made us feel like we were the most important guests they ever had. We will be back soon can’t wait.
I had never visited the Bistro Grille , mainly because it never used to open on Sundays, and when it did, it was always difficult to secure a table. It is the perfect venue for family gatherings, and for a castle hotel has a contemporary menu. If I never went to Nashua, I would not be more impressed with their Hereford Rib roast. The Restaurant front is still as unassuming as ever, and the staff smiles, like most Nashua folks are hard working and endearing group! Being Canadian: – Tumblers seemed smaller than I remembered, though the wine glasses are still as generous as I remembered them. Slurp. One of their major features of course, is their Salmon – like a box of chocolates, you know what to expect, but there are always surprises. Someone had mentioned the dollop of Mustard however we found it to be a great mix. If not: I always believe in asking for the chef to come discourse his creation, not jump online from afar and ask two days later. About their steaks, Always ask for medium as well done starts on the edges in and could be dry! Dont say I didnt warn you! Service is still something I admire at this hotel. They have been the same people since a decade I swear: A bunch of cool people who bend over backwards for ya! Serving with an air of maturity, a major laid back attitude * NOT LAZY* , just so. So our waiter was Nicole, dare I say a New Hampshirite true and true! she welcomed us and read out the specials. And yes, I saved room for the Caramel Cheesecake which I had at my sister’s wedding in the very same venue….needless to say I want to be on a mailing list and revisit in 2011…
My last night in New England and my friend booked me into a GROUPON surprise! I was very impressed. The tables were set up nice and the room, for being a castle out very modern and looked fabulous.
The service was great and the food was just divine. I recommend the Veggy plate, even if it wasnt a great deal it wasnt expensive for a Boston Bedroom community. Maryanne made sure we had a great cocktail. The restaurant is located near the ballroom with amazing views.
There is an indoor and outdoor pool which guests in the hotel can use.
We went on a Tuesday and was rather quiet but my friend had been before on a Saturday night and apparently it gets GROUPONED OUT out quite frequently.
We enjoyed some amazing Potato & Bleu Cheese invention. Prosciutto Cod was great! Desserts we indulged in a chocolate molten cakes which was worth the 20 minute wait ( not complaining ).
I would recommend this restaurant to anybody wanting a special experience in New Hampshire without breaking your wallet or getting gussied up!
It really topped off my stay to have all white pillow top bedding!
Great service, great food, fabulous view, modern decor, great drinks – can’t ask for much more.

Just got back today from an overnight stay with my sister and our daughters. We had a great girls weekend!!! The Granite Bistro was a little disappointing – my sister ordered the flatiron steak which she did not like. But the molten cake was incredible. When we checked in we asked if we could switch our dinner to a breakfast (it would have been cheaper for them) but they said no. I wish I knew we could have contacted someone before we went and had it switched. Well, we have more groupons to use there so hopefully we can switch it next time.

hmmm tried to book the executive room as promised in the groupon coupon and was told that I could only be in the unrenovated part of the hotel without sleep number bed and everything else that was promised. Well, then someone at Groupon needs to be notified and I would DEMAND a refund!
I guess the first day they went on sale, the Hotel was polite, even though the food was horrible. Now that everyone bought the vouchers, they don’t care and they won’t give service. Contact STEVE who has an e-mail within this discussion and tell him your issues. I’m sure he isn’t monitoring this site any longer since over 3,000 groupons were sold. Remember ANY negative comments are bad news for the Hotel!
My husband and I celebrated our 2 year anniversay, with our groupon, on Friday night at the Radisson. We went to the 8 PM dinner seating, and there were only a handful of other guests in the restaurant. The menu is limited, but that enables the food to be brought to you very, very quickly! I saw that someone from Canada said the tumblers are small. They are right, but does that really matter? We were so stuffed with hot wings, turkey club and spaghetti and meatballs that we had to bring dessert back to our room. The chocolate cake is great!
The room was spacious, with a couch and coffee table… much larger than a comparable Hamton Inn room. Our TV was very dark. We were unable to see it. The front desk sent someone up within minutes to correct the problem. We did have a towel that was dirty when we got it, but that stuff happens. You just don’t use it.
Bottom line is that this groupon is a great deal.
Some people just can not be made happy. I know that staff goes out of their way for everyone. If there was a problem, why not approach the staff and say something. I wish I had the temperment, the patience, the need to please, that this staff has. They have done everything, anything they could to please all their guests. I am a loyal fan of this hotel. Steve, Maryann, Claude, Patricia they are unbelievable and I have seen them in action. What a sin for someone to have the ability to make derogatory remarks without any basis. They care about what people think, they cared day one and care today.
We just used our groupon for the Radisson this weekend and were not disappointed. The food was great, we were full at the end of dinner. Portions were a bit small, but we were still full. The room was great, Claude is the best, got us a king size bed after I told him my hubby and I had not been away for a long time. The room was clean, the bathrooms clean. We really enjoyed our time away and we do it again in a minute. The pool was also great , we used the jazucci and sauna too.

This was a great deal, but the food we ordered was far below any decent standard. I’ve never had worse bruschetta. It wasn’t even served on the proper bread! If I had known the food was going to be that bad, I would have taken the offer to exchange the dinner for the 2nd night. The hotel is nice and the employees were super. Two nights there and dining out at a decent place is your best bet. Because of this offer, we discovered SKY VENTURES, an indoor sky diving facility. FANTASTIC!! I can’t wait for Groupon to offer a discount on that!

Looking forward to redeeming this Groupon. Perhaps in April once the Milford Drive-In reopens. Haven’t been to a drive-in movie theater in probably 20 years!

After this weekend’s experience, I will not be returning to the Nashua Radisson or buying any other hotel related Groupons.
After arriving, we were told that we were being downgraded to a double room. This was fairly disappointing to my girlfriend and I, who were looking forward to this enjoyable weekend get-a-way. I was pretty steamed about it all, but there wasn’t much I could do right?
After getting to the room, I insert my key, get a green light, hear the lock disengage, and proceed to try to enter the room. I can’t. The door is stuck. We wait 10 minutes outside our room for an associate to come and help us get in. Of course, when the gentleman uses our key to get in, he does so with no difficulty multiple times. At this rate, I don’t have time to deal with the door because we have dinner reservations in 10 minutes.
Contrary to the other reviews, we had no problem with the actual food at dinner. Our main problem was with the loud wedding next door, but I guess eating dinner with “The Electric Slide” in the background isn’t too terrible. During dinner, we saw another couple using their Groupon meal voucher, and ask if they got downgraded as well… They had. After dinner we head back to the room to enjoy the rest of our evening.
The door won’t open, again. I go down to the front desk to ask for some assistance. They made me a new key (which didn’t do anything) and they said they would send up an engineer. The guy came up another 5-7 minutes later and had to use a master key to open the deadbolt. In a thick accent he told me that I needed to lift the door up as I turned the knob. Totally not cool. So, I call the manager to try to get a new room and some consideration for the inconvenience. He’s on break. We waited around 35 minutes (not doing anything, mind you, since we didn’t want to mess up the room) until he called us back and switched us to the third floor. That room was fine, and he comped us two full breakfasts ($35). Check out wasn’t a problem.
Some things I knew before I bought this Groupon:
1. The hotel will change your reservation willy-nilly, even if you call multiple times to confirm.
2. Tax, gratuity, and alcohol cannot be covered by the meal voucher.
3. Do not stay in Room 660.
I just don’t understand why they would treat us Groupon customers differently, when we could be potential return customers. Fat chance of that now.
JUST WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THE WENT OUT OF BUSINESS AS OF JANUARY 31, I BOUGHT TWO ONE FOR ME AND I GAVE ONE AS A GIFT FOR CHRISTMAS! NOW I AM OUT AND FEEL EVEN WORSE THAT I GAVE IT AS A GIFT!!!!

just called the 1-800 number and they said they are open for business but did close temporarily due to a water main break.
Just got back from two days at this hotel. You should all know that their restaurant is closed for renovations and they are calling their lounge/bar the restaurant. Saturday night the service was horrible, we waited 20 minutes to get seated arriving at 6pm then waited another 20 minutes for anyone of the staff to talk to us. We finally ordered and after getting our first round or drinks we had to get our own water and cutlery as I was missing mine. The food was good however with two small kids we could hardly enjoy it after nearly an hours wait to eat. Sunday the hotel was far less busy and we ate again in the bar area and this time they were understaffed but the bartender did a great job of helping us. The food can on time, we didn’t have to wait and when I did have to get her attention she responded quickly. If you plan to bring a pet they will let you bring your dog but they then require that you don’t leave them in the room alone – how are you supposed to eat dinner? Very disappointed that they didn’t mention this to us before we arrived. The pool, steam shower and sauna were all nice.

I actually purchased three from another Groupon Member. I hope I don’t encounter any problems trying to get reimbursed. This is so very disappointing. And to know that I bought them after they were not honoring. grumble grumble
I just sent them an email and within 15 min I had my Groupon for this canceled. Great customer support, no questions asked, just a refund. Lets just hope I see it on the credit card! Too bad I never got to use it, oh well, least we didn’t get burnt!

First off, I want to say how happy I am with Groupon’ response to the issues I encountered below. Here was my experience. Please note, that the Granite Bistro was closed several months ago.
Thanks for your help in this matter. I just wanted to notify you right away because I really feel that you people got mislead by this hotel and I assume that you will be getting more complaints from people who purchased this offer.
I thought you may want a little more info regarding my experience for your records.
I had called the Granite Bistro restaurant several times this week to make a reservation. Since we were going on a Friday night and dinner was included I wanted to make sure I could be seated. So Tues I called the main number and chose option 4 for the Bistro. They tell you if you would like to make a reservation to leave your name, number, day you want etc. and they would call back to confirm your reservation. Two days later I never received a confirmation so I called back. Same recording came on so I spoke with the front desk and they said that their wouldn’t be a problem.
Upon arrival we were checked in quickly. Well like I mentioned, they have closed the main restaurat and are telling people that the bar area that has four tables is the Bistro. When I tell them that in no way looks like the picture or the description, the staff seemed pretty annoyed at me and confess that the restaurant actually closed several months ago. Then I questioned why it is still in the phone system and why it is still on their website. Anyway, they say they are honoring dinner in the bar. So they tell us they do not allow groupon people to order off the regular menu but hand us a sheet of yellow paper with three apps/three entrees/three dessert choices on it. I took both menus if you wanted them for examples. Needless to say it was a poor dinner.
We were given a newly renovated room. It was nice. However my 8 year old daughter walks in and picks up a used condom wrapper off the floor. Try to explain that one. Besides that, it did appear clean. The bed was comfortable etc
If you have purchased this offer but have not yet used it, you may want to reconsider.

To Mary E, the customer service I received from Groupon was exceptional. I just think the hotel was not honest with Groupon. If you need to be in the area for something specific like a wedding etc. it wouldn’t be bad. If you were looking for a night away I would not keep it. Like I said the fancy restaurant is gone, the pool is very small and also belongs to an athletic club so 3/4 of it was roped off for lap swimmers and if you have kids it really made their area small. I happened to get a rennovated room which was nice but that was the only positive aspect of the stay. Good luck

A month ago I tried to make our reservation and was told they were no longer accepting the Goupon Copupon.
I have notified Groupon and hope to receive compensation.

I spent 2 nights this past weekend with my girlfriend using 2 groupons and had a great experience. No problem making the reservations, room was nice, food was great, the spa was really fun. Yes there can be kids around, but how can you expect there not to be. And we had an old tv in our room, but we didn’t go there to sit in the room and watch tv. We used other Groupons to go to Skyventure and the Budweiser plant. There is so much to do in the Nashua area. I was very worried about going based on all the reviews, but we couldn’t have had a better time!
That baffles me because I was unable to make a reservation. The
young woman told me they were no longer accepting the Grouopon coupon.
