Hi Jacci,
The Groupon is good for one year so you have an entire year to use up all 10 classes. :)
Enjoy,
Traci
Groupon Seattle
According to the website, the owners will be constructing a new space in Wallingford, set to open Nov 1. Can we use this Groupon at their new place, too, or is it only applicable to their UDist studio?

Hi Michelle,
You can utilize this Groupon towards the new location as well. :)
Thanks,
Traci

Hi Traci,
If I wanted to purchase 2 sets of the 10 class sessions for myself, giving me 20 classes is that ok?
Thanks,
Nicole

Nevermind Traci, I just saw the fine print. Maybe I will give one as a gift for a friend!

Hi Jacci,
I misunderstood about the timeframe with the 10 classes. They must be used within two months of the purchase.
I apologize. :)
Thanks,
Traci
Hi there Traci,
The Groupon fine print has the exp date listed as 9/18/2010 which makes it seem like you can use the 10 classes by then… however your note above says it must be used within 2 months of purchase. I’m confused and want to confirm the timeframe (if it’s 2 months I probably wouldn’t be able do it).
Thanks so much in advance!
How long before the receipt arrives? I’m wondering if my purchase went through OK but am loathe to try again…
Hi – I also am really interested in this, but I don’t think I can use all 10 classes if it expires in two months. Can you please confirm if the 9/18/2010 expiration date listed in the fine print is valid?
Thank you!
Is it 2 months from today or 2 months from when I take my first class? (The fine print should really be changed to reflect the actual timeframe…it’s misleading and I’m sure everyone purchasing doesn’t read this discussion.)
Can you give me your website address so I can see what classes are offered when? I think I want to try the “hot” class—I have fibromyalgia and warm sounds really nice!
Do you have any suggestions for which class(es) would be best—I am injury prone when I try to stretch too much. I’m already walking about 1.5 mi a day, at least 5 times a week, but I know I have a lot of weak muscles.

Hello..
I am going to see how long we can extend the 10 day class time frame and let you know asap.
I apologize for the confusion.
Traci
@Jacqueline – I know it’s OT for this thread but I too have fibromyalgia and have been working with this mob who are helping me a lot: www.fibroandfatigue.com – not cheap but worth it.
@traci, any idea how long I should wait for my receipt?
I also have fibromyalgia am severely out of shape but always wanted to try yoga. I also would need an extended amount to use the 10 classes (full time single Mom working full time and not much extra time). This would be very good for me I think. Thanks.
I just purchased two – one for myself and my boyfriend as a surprise – and then saw the previous comments about the 2-month time limit. Yikes! I thought we had a year to take the classes…
I know you are working on it. Just wanted to add my two cents that if there is any way to extend the time limit, this will be an even better deal!
Thanks so much!
Also this groupon is selling like hotcakes – if everyone needs to use it within 2 months I wonder if they would have room for everyone including their current clients.
I just found out – - the 10-class card is to be used within 2 months of your FIRST class when you start. So, you could technically start your classes February 1, 2010 (or whenever is convenient for you) and complete them within 2 months from your START date. You can start your session anytime, but prior to the expiration date (Sept. 2010). I think this explains it. Thanks!
I didn’t realize when I just bought the groupon that it expires 2 months after your first session. I think something should be added to the print so that people know that. I have another studio that I frequent and thought I would be able to use these until 09/2010. I think the two month restriction should be stated in the print of the email and I think that all groupons purchased before this is added should not be subject to this restriction.
The details of this Groupon were not clearly explained up front, even in the “fine print” listed in the deal it seemed like you could use it for the full year. Bummer.
If anything changes, please let us all know asap today, thanks!! (I haven’t bought yet)

Hi Lacie and PR Girl,
My apologies for the confusion. I am still awaiting to hear back from the owner to see if we can extend the time frame.
Thanks for your patience and I will keep you posted.
Thanks,
Traci

Hi All,
Okay… Basically once you purchase the Groupon you have 1 year to use it. However, once you utilize the first class, it is then good for two months. So if you would like to wait a few months to use your 10 punch card, you can. Just know that once you use it, it’s good for two months. Soo sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the clarification, Traci! This is still a fantastic deal!

Two months for a 10 class card is pretty standard for yoga studios. So, $35 is an amazing deal. I just decided to buy 5 for Christmas and Birthday gifts!
wow. over 400 sold. I wonder how many people each session can hold without getting too crowded.
I bought into this deal too because it’s so great, but I bought when only 35 had been sold. Now that it’s over 400, I’m concerned about how this little yoga studio expects to handle such a crowd…
Has anyone else noticed that this business has moved to a new location? I live really close to the original location, which is why I bought this groupon. Now that they are farther away, I won’t use it. This is particularly frustrating because the business must have had some idea ahead of time that this move was coming.
Samantha, I feel that same way. I recently went to the website, thinking that I was ready to start classes soon, and noticed it’s not on Roosevelt anymore. I’m pretty frustrated that they didn’t say anything about a move. I live very close to the old location as well. They mentioned opening up a new facility, but I was led to believe it was just going to be a second location. There was no mention of closing Rain City. So, I think we should be able to get our money back. Do we contact Groupon or the yoga place?
I, too, would like clarification of this. Will Sutra Yoga studio (the “new” Rain City Yoga) honor the groupon?
I just checked and yes, Rain City Yoga, now called Sutra Yoga, honors the groupon. I am using mine tomorrow. It’s a really cool new place.
I bought one for me and one for a gift. Both are in my name, wondering if there’s a way to change the 2nd one to my friend’s name?

Q- Do you have to take the 10 classes within a certain amount of time?
