The tasting menu was okay, but underwhelming overall. Most of the dishes were overcooked, the scallops, the pasta. The beetroot salad was the star of the menu. The service was very, very slow; overall it took more than two hours, even though I told them we needed to be out within two hours to make it to the theatre on time (and thus we were late). The kitchen was very slow, unreasonably so, even though the restaurant was less than half full early Sunday (5pm).
The menu was well chosen, though; I did appreciate the attempt. It is far too pricy for both the quality and quantity of food provided, I would not have been happy to pay $79 per person (full price) for that meal and service.

This was one of the best dining experiences that my partner and I have ever shared. The food was fabulous, and Jenny, the waitress, was absolutely, hands down, the best server we have ever had. Eat at Rain City Grill and expect a wonderful gastronomic experience.

Make a reservation as they only have a certain number of slots for Groupon per night to avoid disappointment . Food and service were excellent,staff was knowledgable about wine pairing and very accommodating with a food allergy situation. I would not hesitate to return although a bit pricey for an casual night out on a regular basis. Thanks for a lovely meal!
