Early humans developed the ability to sprint in order to chase down sprightly prey and invented long-distance running to escape from slowly approaching glaciers. Follow in their fossilized footsteps with this Groupon.

Rebel Race

Rebel Race's military-style obstacle courses challenge athletes from all backgrounds to shed humdrum day-to-day routines to experience the primal joys of mud, sweat and glory. Emerging from the mire in various states across the country, each Rebel Race packs its rucksack with tests of physical and mental toughness, rousing racers and washing machines alike to triumph in the face of sloppy opposition. After dashing through fire, climbing walls, and scaling mountains of hay, race participants bask in the collective kudos of parties, which include live entertainment, food, and beer for purchase. Camping options encourage participants and spectators to transform races into weekend getaways, while awards recognize each day's standout competitors and most-humble mud pits.

The Groupon Guide to: Baby Proofing Your Home

For some parents, keeping a new baby safe is their highest priority—even above their own comfort. What are some ways to make your home safe for the new baby?

  • Block exposed electrical outlets with a glob of nontoxic baby wax.
  • Replace curious, slobbering pets with more cuddly stuffed animal versions.
  • File down the sharp corners on any table or, better yet, throw your furniture out and eat everything standing over the sink.
  • Stop swearing! Babies can sense when you express your emotions in order to feel better—instead, keep it bottled up throughout their childhood.
  • Keep your newly safe house clean and organized by never bringing an unpredictable baby into it.

How can you keep your house safe for and from a baby?
