Customers drop off or mail their media to Reel-to-Reel, which was established in 1981. Here, technicians transfer VHS and camcorder tapes to DVD and digital files ($20 each for the first five, and $14.95 for each additional thereafter), slides to DVD or digital files ($49.95 for up to 100, $0.40 each thereafter), still photos to DVD or digital files ($49.95 for up to 100, $0.40 each thereafter), and movie film to DVD or digital files ($15 per 100 ft., 300-ft. minimum). Shipping is only included for purchases more than $100. Reel-to-Reel Video also offers free archiving for all orders, streaming video and online editing after orders are digitized, an online photo-editing system for customers’ use, and 30 minutes of free phone assistance. DVDs can be viewable online at anytime for a service charge of $5 per DVD.
