After a consultation, the podiatrist uses a Q-switched YAG laser to target fungus beneath the nail surface while preserving the nail bed and surrounding skin. Results become visible as the nail grows over the course of 9–12 months. The procedure typically involves minimal discomfort, if any, and patients can immediately resume painting toenails with tiny portraits of their favorite presidents. Though many clients only require one session, this deal also includes a 90-day follow-up treatment if needed.
