Beware! This place isn't in the best of areas. Dare I say, it is somewhat "hoodish".

I actually live nearby and shop in this shopping center regularly. Yes as it is near the border of DC in an area with no movie theaters or shopping many SE residents use this shopping center. But this is predominately a middle class neighborhoods and has had less crime than nearby Alexandria as of late. Check CrimeReports.com for fact not perception from non-residents and media stereotypes. You are in no more danger going here than downtown Bethesda, Alexandria or DC. We are excited about having the theater back! No more need to go to Waldorf or Alexandria.
