On Friday, April 5, of-age guests congregate at the Palms Pool for a night of beer and music. VIP admission includes 30-minute early entry from a VIP line, access to the VIP lounge and viewing area on the middle deck at the Palms Pool, and two raffle entries for prizes. During the night, VIP guests enjoy unlimited samples of more than 70 beers from breweries such as Lagunitas, Joseph James, and Gordon Biersch. Meanwhile, live performances from bands and DJs energize the crowd including a special national music act announcement made on March 11. The event benefits the UNLV Beverage Management Club, which educates students on the ins and outs of the beverage industry.

Rock 'n Brew Orange County

At Sutra in Costa Mesa, you’ll usually find the floor filled with pulsing lights and dancing bodies. On June 8, however, the club is home base for craft beer vendors participating in Rock 'n Brew Orange County. Representatives from 15 local and national breweries will be pouring unlimited samples and tearfully giving away their favorite cups to a soundtrack provided by live rock bands and DJs from all over Southern California. Proceeds benefit Beer 4 Boobs—dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research—and National College Resources, an outreach program that helps underserved youth pursue higher education.
