Roger Miller Restaurant

At the 1990 World Cup, soccer striker Roger Miller, also known as Roger Milla, earned international renown for scoring four goals, helping the Cameroonian team reach the quarterfinals. His accomplishment was particularly impressive because he achieved it at the age of 38, when most players have already retired their famed feet to the deep freezer.

Named for this legendary player, the small but vibrant Roger Miler Restaurant honors the flavors of the athlete's homeland with traditional Cameroonian dishes as well as other West African staples. Bright-orange walls and vivid art prints surround patrons as they enjoy dishes such as goat pepper soup and steamed catfish. Side orders of spinach, steamed rice, and Nigerian-style yam fufu accompany the seafood, grill, and vegetarian offerings.

The Groupon Guide to: Where Babies Come From

Having “the talk” with your child can be awkward—especially if your child is still too young to understand the nuances of human reproduction or, worse, is a giggler. Postpone the difficult conversation a few more months with one of these classic explanations about where babies come from:

  • Babies are dropped down the chimney by storks who swoop down and steal them from other families.
  • Babies are hatched from the cabbage patch, so if you think about it, eating vegetables is essentially cannibalism.
  • Babies are assembled at the hospital and wrapped tightly in a blanket until all the glue is dry.
  • When a mommy and a daddy love each other very much, their psychic harmonics produce an cytoplasmic egg that must be kept in a dark closet for nine months.
  • Babies are an invention of the celebrity-obsessed media to sell magazine covers of pregnant starlets.

Is it time to tell your kids the truth about where babies come from? Learn how with today's Groupon Guide.

  • POG juice, ginger beer - we both just loved out beverages - a great, crisp ginger beer, and Best. Juice. Ever.

  • I wasn't quite sure what to expect but it was amazing and so different! I've never had goat so expertly prepared - tender without a hint of gamey-ness
