After inventing geometry and physics, Greeks invented history—primarily as a way to document their many inventions. Take a stroll through history with this Groupon: for $11, you get one admission and a GuideCam tour at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library in Simi Valley (up to a $22 value). Children 10 and younger are admitted for free.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library celebrates the life and career of the 40th president, Ronald Reagan, with informational and interactive exhibits and historical tours through the campus's museum and library. Visitors browse numerous historical exhibitions, including a fragment of the Berlin Wall, a replica of the Oval Office, and a granite memorial honoring the time President Reagan defeated Mikhail Gorbachev at arm-wrestling during the 1988 Olympics. Additionally, visitors can check out George Washington's dentures and other presidential artifacts at temporary exhibits, or explore Air Force One 27000, the Flying White House that served seven U.S. presidents from 1973–2001.

A handy GuideCam leads visitors through the campus's halls, providing audio commentary in the voices of President and Mrs. Reagan on more than 50 stops. It also acts as a camera that allows aspiring photographers to snap shots or take videos of their favorite displays, which then trickle down to their personal email and can be shared with friends via social media or laptops strapped to carrier pigeons.

Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library

Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum chronicles the life and career of President Reagan on a sprawling, 100-acre Simi Valley campus. The museum's more than 100,000 square feet of exhibits, including an Oval Office replica and President Reagan's gravesite, draws in history buffs and provides children with an often-interactive primer to America’s 40th president and the 1976 winner of the Iditarod. Visitors can use the museum’s GuideCam handheld device for a detailed audio tour. Headphones allow private immersion in the background of exhibits such as Reagan's actual Air Force One and a piece of the Berlin Wall. Examining all the exhibits usually takes about three hours, though visitors can rest and refuel at the Ronald Reagan Pub housed within the museum, which features sandwiches, beverages, and a vintage Walter Mondale dartboard.
