Like the earth, sushi consists of layers and was apparently invented by someone who really liked the ocean. Explore waves of flavor with this Groupon.
$15 for $30 Worth of Sushi and Japanese Cuisine
Diners feast from a menu of Japanese treats such as salmon nigiri ($5.75), crab and halibut medley dinners ($18.95), teriyaki beef ($17.95), and tuna tataki sashimi ($14.95).
After leaving his native Korea, Ronnie Lee settled in the United States to work as a fashion designer. Becoming enamored with the simplistic beauty and subtle flavors of Japanese cuisine, he opened Ronnie's Sushi—and later on, Ronnie 2—in order to explore sukiyaki hot pots, teriyaki lunch combos, and assorted sushi rolls and sashimi. Each dish is an exercise in art as well as fine cuisine, with visions of deep-crimson tuna, lime-green avocado, or sunny-orange tobiko popping from plates. Guests savor each bite in the restaurant's two-story A-frame dining area, surrounded by wooden beams as well as Japanese paper lanterns and fans. It's a setting that's both rustic and exotic, like a plaid button-up shirt knitted from the beard-hairs of a merman.
