The 45-minute boot-camp classes vary daily to prevent muscle boredom. They combine a full-body cardio workout with functional exercises that may use your own body weight to tone muscles, along with free weights, kettlebells, and TRX bands, among other equipment. RZ BootCamp was developed by RowZone Manayunk owner John Belanger, who served as a commander during multiple combat deployments and led hundreds of paratroopers in several different Special Operations and Airborne units. John is an experienced runner/triathlete and an avid CrossFit participant who recently completed the Cozumel Ironman and Civilian Military Combine, where he finished first in his age group.
He drew on his background and passion for fitness to create the boot camp, which, although competitive, is fun and casual. Workouts take place inside or outdoors, depending on the weather, and serve clients of all fitness levels. Click here to see the class schedule.
