The Rugged Maniac 5K obstacle race will take place at Zoo City Motor Sports Park, and contestants can opt to run on either Saturday, April 20 or Sunday, April 21. Beginning at 9 a.m. and ending around 3 p.m., waves of 250 runners take off every 15 minutes, with athletes selecting their start time during online registration. Admission includes a Rugged Maniac T-shirt, a beer from Harpoon Brewery, and fresh fruit, live music, and showers once participants cross the finish line.

Rugged Maniac 5K Obstacle Race sends runners into an obstacle-filled odyssey of muddy endurance. The 5-kilometer course features more than epic 25 obstacles, with participants scaling towers of stacked shipping containers, crawling through underground tunnels, and leaping over fire. After the race, live music and cold beer invite triumphant runners to unwind.
