Now in its fourth year, Running of the Bulls USA pays tribute to Pamplona, Spain’s long-running tradition with a weekend-long festival featuring seven scheduled bull runs and live music. Runners test their mettle against 40 live bulls, weighing 1,500 pounds apiece and capable of bench-pressing up to a dozen professional wrestlers. Music will be featured throughout the day Saturday and Sunday, culminating in 7 p.m. concerts that feature the danceable sounds of Keltic Cowboys, Weird Is The New Cool, Catfish Mustache, and The VeraGroove. Runners are encouraged to wear proper running shoes, body-covering attire, and mirrors on their backs to mesmerize conceited bulls.
