Groupon: Collective Buying Power

This place is sooo good! We had amazing food and left stuffed. I highly suggest a reservation on Open Table but definitely a groupon find.

I got the last groupon to this place and although I followed all of the rules set out by Russia House, ate in the dining room, etc., they would not let me use the Groupon. They were incredibly rude to me and caused a huge scene when I tried to point out that I had done everything outlined in the fine print. I would not encourage anyone to get this Groupon since you may run into the same problems I did. I ended up having to pay for my meal there and let the Groupon expire.

Meghan- Just curious, if you did follow the rules as you stated, did you contact Groupon so they could intervene with the restaurant or give you a refund? I mean, they choose to do this deal with Groupon, so I'm guessing it was just one waiter who was uninformed, but I can see why you wouldn't go back there.

Meaghan: If you have a problem using your coupon, Groupon's customer service email address is support@groupon.com, or call 1-877-788-7858 One thing I always do when using any coupon is to tell my waiter about it as soon as I am seated. That way, if there is a problem, you can try to work it out or simply walk away. Also, I NEVER tell a restaurant I have a coupon (of any kind) when making a reservation, unless they ask me. You just might get the table by the kitchen or the 9 p.m. seating when you're eating stuff made 6 hours earlier.

I'd buy this Groupon but need a confirmation that this time around the Groupon does NOT have to be used in the Dining room only. I did have a pretty great experience crashing the quiet, TINY, dining room with my drunken friends to order cocktails and appetizers with the Groupon, but I'd rather not repeat the experience.

The fine print says one coupon per person but doesn't say anything about several groupons per table. Is it possible to buy 2 give one as a gift and use 2 for a dinner of 4 people?

So what's the deal? Groupon needs to figure this out...they're the ones who didn't put any fine print out there before we bought this. Either they need to call Russia House and tell them they need to honor their promotion without intimidating or harassing the customer, or they need to give us our money back.

Yes, they were rude and are only accepting the Groupon in the dining room - which was never mentioned in the terms. Call Groupon and demand a refund. Groupon should never work with The Russia House again.

Hi, I tried to use my groupon yesterday but the restaurant was full and after waiting for one hour I was enable to get a table. I tried to make a reservation but they are full and are not accepting reservations before june 2nd. how can I request a reimboursment as they are not honoring the groupon? Thank you Patricia A.
