The gel manicure, which lasts up to two weeks without chipping or fading, includes an exfoliating hand massage with reflexology and a warm aromatherapy wax treatment from the PerfectSense paraffin system. This system envelops hands in individual wax-filled bags, avoiding double dipping in a communal pot. During the Weekender hair treatment, Brazilian Blowout finishing products soften the hair and inspire shine, and a head massage dispels tension. A house blend of shea butter, essential oils, and Dead Sea salts exfoliate the hands before a PerfectSense paraffin treatment locks in moisture and softens the skin.

Salon Lux's owner is Cindy Wilson, a nail technician and reflexologist for more than three decades, who combined her dual passions into a single business where beauty and well-being blend seamlessly. This fusion produced a menu of services where trends such as feather extensions and smooth, speedy blowouts meet relaxing and rejuvenating facials that couple with aromatherapy scrubs and European or lymphatic massage. Stylists—including a graduate of Toni & Guy—also manage manes with color services, cuts, and smoothing keratin treatments, while bodies find their perfect bronze with hand-applied California spray tans that keep them safe from UV rays and winged sharks.

When not in the salon, Cindy can be found teaching classes in reflexology at the Learning Connection or volunteering at the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, where she offers reflexology for those fighting cancer.
