Diners can opt for hibachi fare such as steak ($17.95), scallops ($18.95) or two lobster tails ($30.95). Hibachi meals include a house salad, clear soup, fried rice, and vegetables. During lunch, sushi arrives in a wide range of rolls, from shrimp-tempura rolls to eel-cucumber rolls and shrimp and asparagus. Any two rolls are $8.50 and any three are $10.95. Surrounded by rich earth tones and in front of patrons' very eyes, they man gas-heated hibachi grills and juggle platefuls of steak, seafood, and vegetables into flashes of fire. Across the room, the sushi chefs avoid open flames and high-wattage light bulbs entirely as they roll a number of traditional and contemporary maki, filling each one with delicate cuts of fish and piquant dabs of sauce.
