The microdermabrasion facial includes a pore-opening steam treatment, a mask, and extractions. During the microdermabrasion portion, a diamond-tipped wand is used to buff away dead skin cells. The facial also incorporates hot stones and a massage of the face, neck, shoulders, and arms.

The Shellac manicure includes nail shaping, cuticle trimming, a hand massage, and a skin-smoothing dip in paraffin wax. Freshly groomed fingernails are brushed with UV-cured Shellac polish that maintains a chip-free façade for up to two weeks.

The deluxe manicure is like the Shellac manicure, except it uses regular polish in lieu of Shellac and includes a sugar scrub, a shoulder massage, and soothing hot stones on the neck. The deluxe pedicure targets feet with a similar routine, plus callus removal and a hydrating mask to keep skin soft.

Satin Nails & Facial

The treatment rooms at Satin Nails & Facial are like mini suites. Settling into one of the private spaces, clients can sip on a hot or cold beverage as they unwind to soft music, float down the Internet on an inner tube of free WiFi, relax in front of the flat-screen TV, or have a chat with the poltergeist that lives in the old-fashioned tube TV. Once guests feel thoroughly low strung, Satin’s aestheticians launch into one of three facials, including a microdermabrasion treatment that opens pores with steam before exorcising buildup with extractions and high-frequency currents. Additionally, a selection of manicures and pedicures follow in their brethren’s footsteps by incorporating hot-stone massages and hydration masks, and waxing services eradicate unwanted fuzz more effectively than 19th century inventor William Lint Roller, creator of the lint roller.
