James - the digital files that you receive on CD or DVD are identical. The only difference between a CD or DVD is the capacity of the disc itself. I have VHS tapes that contain several minutes each of various things I would like to combine on one disc. Can this be done? The problem would be that there are movies and other things also on the tapes that I would not want to include.\, only the parts where family \members were guests on local shows.

Hi Virginia - We are unable to combine your VHS tape footage - each tape will be transferred to its own DVD disc. If you'd like to handle any editing work after transfer, we can provide you with digital files if you select the hard drive transfer option.
