Deborah - Our system does not allow the DVDs to be edited prior to finalizing the DVD. The sound will definitely transfer with the DVDs. Deborah - We have two options - we can convert the VHS directly to DVD. In the situation we go straight to DVD, there is no editing before or after the process. OR if you opt for the hard drive option, we will convert the VHS to DVD AND we will provide the files to you on a hard drive. Those files you can pull into final cut and edit on your own after we return everything to you. I hope this clears up any confusion and sorry if I haven't been explaining this very well! I had two answers to my question- one said no- no editing and then this one- that it could be done- with the hard drive option- so which is it?

Deborah - hopefully I can clarify this a bit. The first question was about editing the DVDs (or that's how I read it). Our standard DVD option will not be editable, but we do offer a hard drive option. With the hard drive option you will receive editable files that you can pull into final cut. With both the DVD and the hard drive, the sound will be part of the video. I hope this clears it up! Thanks for your interest and please let us know if you have additional questions!

Will I be able to edit the VHS to DVD before the final cut? Will the sound transfer?

Can a DVD of photos be copied or pictures moved to a different order?
