Barbara - Welcome to ScanMyPhotos.com, we're glad you found us. 300 DPI is good for print reproduction of the same size or for viewing on a computer. 600 DPI is better to "future-proof" your photos. As screen resolutions increase, so will your scanned images to maintain viewing quality. Additionally, scanning at a higher resolution allows for larger, crisper photo reproductions. The 600dpi upgrade is $24.00 per groupon when ordering the 500 groupon deal or $29.00 per groupon when ordering the 1000 groupon deal. First, purchase the Groupon deal today. Then, when submitting your photos to us for scanning, select the option 600dpi scanning on the order form.
