Questions and Answers

Is there much visual difference between the two resolutions? these are old family photos so I am not sure about how much to spend

300 DPI is good for print reproduction of the same size or for viewing on a computer. 600 DPI is better to "future-proof" your photos. As screen resolutions increase, so will your scanned images to maintain viewing quality. Additionally, scanning at a higher resolution allows for larger, crisper photo reproductions. For example, a 4x6 scanned at 300 DPI can reproduce a 4x6 or a 5x7 print whereas a 600 DPI scan can print up to 16x20. Please visit http://www.scanmyphotos.com/300v600dpi.php for more information. We can scan both color and black and white photographs. Although the Groupon special is limited to standard 4×6” photographic pictures, you can select to send in any sizes from 3 x 3” – 8 × 10” enlargements. Once you have placed your Groupon order, follow the complete information on how to place your order by visiting the link on your printed Groupon voucher under the heading "How to use this". Download and fill out the order Form and mail with your photos and your valid Groupon voucher. On the order form, select the "Sizes other than 4x6" options and pay just $14.95 extra per Groupon if any of your provided photos are not 4×6″ [must be between 3 x 3” – 8 × 10″]. Photos must be organized by size for this option.
