Questions and Answers

I have over 3000 photos of various sizes and conditions. Do you individually scan each photo? What format do I get them back in? I like the 600 dpi and hand cleaning option. If I sort them will they come back scanned according to that sort? I think the the DVD archival solution might work well, how much am I looking at and does this Groupon help?

Jerald B. asked 1 year, 2 months, 13 days, 7 hours, and 40 minutes ago - 1 answer

Nicole S.

Jerald - We do have a bulk discounted rate in which you can prepay $580 to have 1,000 loose printed photos scanned at 600 dpi. Any additional photos over 1,000 will be charged at $.58 per photo. You can apply one $100 value Groupon to our discount prepay packages. Photos are scanned into a jpeg file and then uploaded onto a CD or DVD depening on your choice. All photos will be individually scanned by hand. If you send your photos to us in titled baggies or envelopes, we will create subfolders on your disc with those images included and the photos will be returned to you in that order. When you place your order online, please make a note in the special instructions portion of our order form indicating to scan your photos in order. Using the Groupon in conjunction with our bulk package does offer a significant savings off of our normal pricing.

Jim - We offer two scanning options for most formats and the pricing will vary depending on those options. Due to the amount of materials that you have to be scanned, we would be able to offer an additional discount on top of your Groupon. I have a wedding video from 21 years ago done by a professional service. Can you convert to DVD? The company is out of business and can not reach for a release. Laurel P.

Laurel P. asked 1 year, 2 months, 15 days, 13 hours, and 2 minutes ago - 1 answer

Brette V.

If the video was done by a professional, they do have a copyright waiver that would need to be signed. If you are no longer able to get in touch because the videographer is out of business, please call ScanDigital at 1.888.333.2808 so they can address your situation on an individual basis.
