Hi Karen- There is a choice of 2 dates, the front page happens to be for the 22nd therefor the Fine Print reads Expires on 8/22. If you’d prefer to go on the 28th you’ll need to select that date when purchasing. No edit necessary.

Duane- Children under 3 years old do not require an admission ticket! And we have complimentary life jackets and tubes with bottoms for your little ones

I purchased tickets for the 28th and it said that they expired on the 22nd. How is that possible?
We live in Fort Worth and have a vacation planned for next week…I was so excited when I saw this deal but we will be gone by the 22nd. Has anyone heard of any other deals or offers going on for Schlitterbahn?
Does the souvenir cup include free refills for the day of admission?

Courtney- The cup comes with one drink. But, at the gate, you will have the chance to upgrade to all-you-can drink at a special discount.

I know Simon Malls were offering a promotion where you got 2 Schlitterbahn tickets, a $25 American Express gift card, plus some other junk for $75. I’m not sure if the promotion is expired or not, but you could try calling one. I picked up the deal at Rolling Oaks Mall in San Antonio on the way to the park.
Tasha, I purchased 4 tickets for the 28th and it shows here expiration date as Aug 22nd. confusing!! I did not get any confirmation email to print as a proof to show @ park. pl let me know when to use this coupon 28th or 22nd?

Tasha- Our plan is to go to Schlitterbahn on Monday, August 16th. We have six adults and five kids…not sure who has bought their tickets yet. If you have any available discounts that day, we would be super excited!

Schllitterbahn is too crowded on the weekends – I have been waiting til school is back in so I could go on a weekday and have a more enjoyable experience. Tasha, do you know of any other potential discounts?
is it still too crowded after 3 on a Sunday? we were hoping it would thin out a little by then.

I contacted Simon Mall…turns out ALL Texas malls have been sold out for about two weeks. However, I will keep that deal in mind for next year!
Morgan Z.-actually even if you select to go on the 28th, it still says it expires on the 22nd on the “My Groupon” receipt or whatever page. So I do think it needs an edit. Either that or everyone who bought on the 28th is screwed….
I’m confused. The coupon says that it can be used from Aug. 13th-22nd; however, the website indicates that the only day you can use it is Aug. 22nd. Can I use it from Aug. 13th-22nd?

Morning Everyone- Per the Fine Print the voucher is only valid on the day that it was purchased for. The “Redeemable after…” is an auto time stamp on the voucher. Sorry for any confusion.

Try an HEB in or around New Braunfels—they usually have tickets $3.00 off. Also, Schlitterbahn is always half off after 3pm, but you only get 5 hours so plan wisely what rides you want to ride. Weekends are horrible…try for a Tuesday or WEdnesday.

So, I wanted to just reconfirm that the expiration date on the front page only applies to you if you bought the 8/22 deal. If you bought for the 8/28 day, that’s your expiration. Sorry if this is confusing.

We have chosen two dates to offer the Groupon that are historical ‘slower’ days. Also, Sundays are historical slower as well. If you choose to come on the 22nd, I suggest getting there first thing in the morning. I like to arrive right before 10am, find my table, ride a few rides, and when the park fills up a bit in the afternoon, I hit the lazy river. Then, people leave the park and the crowd thins out, then I hit the rides again. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately this isn’t that great of a deal. I got a better deal at the Simon Malls (the Simon Desk). Purchase a package for $75 and receive 2 Park entrances (adult or child) and an American Express Gift Card for $25. The basicly equates to $25 a ticket. No date restricition at all. I already used mine. Groupon can do better-can’t you?

Frederick- It is my understanding that the Simon Malls are all sold out of this deal. They had a limited number of inventory. Just wanted to make sure you didn’t miss out on a great deal!

I have a comment. I bought these tickets for my husband and son as a back to school surprise. They went and used them on the 28th and said the experience was HORRIBLE. Check in was chaos, they were NOT issued a “souvenier cup” as stated and they were there right at park opening and the park was so crowded and ill-controlled- the rides were not even worth waiting in the lines for. They spent the day just at the wave pool and were home so early. I am so disappointed, I have heard only the best remarks about the park and wonder if they over did it this day with the deal and dropped the ball on customer service. Having had this experience changes my mind from upgrading and getting them the season passes much less giving the park another try or any more of my money. Not happy.
