How often will I need to be seen for follow ups, and is there an office charge for each follow up appt.? I don't have insurance so I'm wondering the out of pocket costs.

This deal includes all treatment and "follow up" appointments. "Follow Up" basically is the treatment. At your initial appointment we take records and then submit them to Invisalign. At your next appointment you get your first 3 sets of aligners. You will return every 6 weeks (getting 3 more aligners each appointment) until we are both satisfied with the alignment of your teeth. All of those appointments are included in the cost. The only extra cost would come at the very end of treatment where you will have the option of just using the basic clear retainer that is included in this price or a more cosmetic type of retainer that Invisalign can make (cost $150).

My 29 year old son is very interested. He travels internationally about 24 weeks per year. he will be home from mid December for about 4 months. is it feasible to do Invisalign on that schedule?? if we purchase how would refund be done, if he cannot be a candidate when the consultation is done?

This is a tough one. It all depends on the complexity of his case. In certain situations, yes this is totally feasible, but if his teeth are going to be more difficult to align and will require more appointments then it may not work. Additionaly, Groupon has already stated that non-candidates will be refunded and the Groupon will not expire for 180 days. So if you do purchase the deal and we find out in December that he is not a good candidate, they will still refund you. You jst cointact Groupon customer support and they will cancel your purchase and refund you according to their normal procedures. I do believe that I have a solution to your problem that we can solve without even having you son need to come into the office. We can possibly do a virtual consultation so that I can give you a better idea if I think this can work out for you and your son, Please call, or have your son call my office at 502-361-0637 Thursday between 8AM and 4PM.
