Hi Christine and thanks for your question. Yes. The wines that are including in the complimentary wine tasting are the same as those for the Wine and Cheese tasting. For the Barrel Room Tour you and your group can either do wine tasting before or after your tour. The tour will last about 30-40 minutes and is done by our Asst. Winemaker who is very knowledgeable. She will go over all of the details of what happens once our wine makes it to the Barrel Room until it is bottled. The Barrel Room is temperature controlled and it will be cold inside. The tasting you will do will be done at the tasting bar inside of the winery. The Wine and Cheese Tasting is done in our Tuscan Room which is next to our tasting room. We have the fireplace on and you and your guest(s) have a private table, but may be sharing the room with no more than 8 couples. We will bring in a platter with cheese and crackers and our tasting staff will come to you while you are seated. They will bring 1 wine at a time and explain what the wine is and all of the specifics of the wine. This can last 30 -60 minutes and you are welcome to stay longer. Hi Lucy,, Our Barrel Tour is done by our asst. Winemaker. She will take you and your group into the room where our wine is made and is stored and will explain the process from when the grapes are picked until the wine is bottled. The tour takes 30-40 minutes and she will answer any questions you have. You will also be able to do complimentary wine tasting before or after the tour.
