Choose Between Two Options

  • $179 for an Open Water Scuba Diver class (a $389 value)
  • $94 for a nitrox-certification course (a $189 value)

Open Water Scuba Diver students learn diving fundamentals in classroom and pool sessions. They then test snorkeling experience during gulf dives. For the nitrox course, students complete four to six hours of classroom time and a 50-question exam to obtain a nitrox card, which permits them to use enriched-air nitrox between 22 and 40% as a breathing medium.

Scuba Haven

Since 1988, the instructors at Scuba Haven have equipped underwater explorers with essential knowledge and certification to brave the aquatic frontier. Their certification classes grant access to equipment rentals and exclusive admittance to starfish speakeasies at the bottom of the sea. They lead classroom and hands-on sessions in local pools and open water, allowing students to execute learned techniques in safe and practical environments. Scuba Haven carries essential tools for students, including air tanks, regulators, and wetsuits. Divers are required to supply their own personal gear, including masks, snorkels, and jet-powered fins.
