Through G.R.I.T.—which stands for Group Resistance and Interval Training—trainers shape up individual fitness seekers, wedding parties, and corporate-office employees with boot-camp-style workouts. During one-on-one personal-training sessions, the trainers customize fitness regimens to meet each client's goals, helping them shed pounds through resistance training, strength-and-conditioning exercises, and plyometrics.
