Fish are just like humans, except they never graduate from school and don't melt horribly in saltwater. Make some finned friends with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $24 for general aquarium admission for two (up to a $38 value)
- $15 for admission for one to "Sharks After Dark" on Thursday, August 8 (up to a $30 value)

During the Sharks After Dark events, which run from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., dim candlelight flickers across the aquarium, where more than 5,000 sea creatures wait in darkness. Groups turn on flashlights and explore tanks and a 360-degree ocean tunnel, which reveals black-tip reef sharks. Elsewhere, music plays and a cinema screens shark-themed videos in celebration of the Discovery Channel's Shark Week. The event also grants attendees behind-the-scenes access to the aquarium with snacks and prizes.
Though this merchant sometimes offers a discounted price online, this Groupon is still the best deal available.
Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium
The life inside Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium's tanks are like a Where's Waldo? book come to life, except the protagonists within the underwater tableau aren't awkwardly dressed like candy canes. Thousands of fish swirl through the waters, and you could easily spend hours picking out specific species.
Green sea turtles, on the other hand, swim in open view. So does other marine life—especially once you enter the 360-degree ocean tunnel, which simulates the experience of walking across the ocean floor. Blacktip reef sharks swim overhead and flash their menacing teeth at the cownose stingrays, who appear to smile back.
The aquarium's more interactive attractions explain what makes undersea life so appealing. At the rockpool, for instance, education hosts explain the lives of coastal creatures, letting visitors touch everything in the exhibit, including sea stars and hermit crabs. The experts also host daily feed-and-talk times, where they chat about stingrays, sharks, and seahorses.
Even though Sea Life spans two stories and 45,000 square feet, only so many creatures can call the aquarium home. To help marine life outside its walls, Sea Life runs and participates in many different conservation campaigns and programs. Sea Life aquarium rescues seals, finds permanent homes for disabled sea turtles, and breeds nine kinds of seahorses in order to protect these endangered species from extinction.
