Questions and Answers
These tours are a great way to see the city in a new way. I find myself looking up more and seeing details of the city I’d previously missed. Super activity for friends and family that are visiting.
Highly recommended!! These tours are a great group activity – imformative and interesting. You will learn new things about our wonderful city
This is a fabulous activity for those who live in Seattle as well as visiting family and friends. One of the signs of a great city is great architecture and you can see it on these fun tours.
I’ve been on two tours and both were fun and gave me a greater appreciation for Seattle history and architecture. Tour lengths are just right and the guides are entertaining as well as informative. I’ll definitely go again!
@ Jay: Why would this be inappropriate for kids? I mean I could see a few raised eyebrows if you took your Scouts to “Gay Pioneer Square: Coming Out from the Underground” but the rest seem appropriate.
I have a question regarding quantity: I just bought this groupon, as did my husband on his new account. Can I now go in and buy 2 more as a gift? We have a Secret Santa gift to buy where the suggested price is $15/gift. A pair of these tickets would be perfect, because the value of the gift would be $30, making it a more generous gift (I’m not being cheap here. . .if I was being cheap I would just get one ticket and pretend it was $15). ANYWAY, my question is, “Can I go back in and buy two more, without knowing who will ultimately redeem them?” Or must you name the recipient at the time of purchase?
I’ve really enjoyed the 3 SAF tours I’ve been on. Not only do they help you see your city in a different light, but you get some really interesting facts about the history – of both architecture itself, and the city.
Did you know that one building can buy the sky from a neigboring building below it? I didn’t know that either, but it’s true!
The tour guides are well informed and the tours are very well researched.
But most of all – they’re FUN!

Hey Everyone,
The website link has changed in your redemption instructions for the Seattle Architecture Foundation Groupon. If you purchased this and already printed your Groupon, please reprint it to redeem starting on Jan. 1 and follow the instructions on your updated Groupon!
Enjoy the tour!

Hi Kelly! My order says it’s still in process? Any suggestions?
Hi,
The Brown Paper Tickets wouldn’t recognize the Groupon code, and their customer representative says that the Groupon cannot be applied online. Any way to fix this?
Note that despite what the Groupon says, you need to enter your Groupon # in the “Member Code” field rather than the “Discount Code” field on the Brown Paper Tickets site. If you still have trouble, contact SAF and they can preregister you without a ticket.

Looked like a good deal for my Scout troop — UNTIL I read their “ad” and tour specifics. These don’t seem to be appropriate for the youngsters. Too bad.
