$1,499 for Complete Dental Implant ($3,830 Total Value)

  • Dental implant (an $825 value)
  • Healing abutment (a $225 value)
  • Milled implant abutment (a $580 value)
  • Implant crown (a $1,650 value)
  • 3-D Cone Beam scan (a $350 value)
  • Surgical implant guide (a $200 value)

During the first part of the procedure, the dental surgeon takes a 3-D scan of the mouth before using the surgical guide to direct the implant drilling system and install the titanium implant into the jawbone. The metal implant fuses to the jawbone over the next several months. After the jawbone heals, the doctor attaches a healing collar (the healing abutment) to the metal implant. This encourages the gums to heal properly, which takes about two weeks.

Finally, the doctor replaces the healing abutment with the permanent milled implant abutment and fits a temporary crown—the cap that is made to look like a natural tooth—over the abutment. This is worn for a few weeks while the permanent crown is created. The permanent crown is then placed over the abutment. The entire process requires multiple visits and may take up to a year.

Secure Smiles

During his career, Dr. Stuart R. Shlosberg has practiced dentistry and taught dental techniques on both sides of the Atlantic and on both coasts of the United States. After leaving a general-dentistry practice in London’s West End, he traveled to the U.S., where he developed a specialization in prosthodontics and taught restorative dentistry at such schools as Harvard University and the University of Southern California. Today, Dr. Shlosberg combines his skills with those of oral surgeon Dr. Stephen Nahigian to fill in dental gaps with implants and line up ill-fitting jaws with maxillofacial procedures.

Before procedures, the doctors make a point to get to know each patient. During free consultations, the doctors then discuss patients’ concerns before outlining a tailored treatment plan. New patients cart home a complimentary customized dental kit ideal for adding to time capsules full of candy.
