Choose from Four Options

  • $27 for a 30-minute segway training session and one-hour historic city tour (a $55 value)
  • $27 for a 30-minute segway training session and one-hour rental (a $55 value)
  • $37 for a 30-minute segway training session and two-hour historic city tour (a $75 value)
  • $37 for a 30-minute segway training session and two-hour rental (a $75 value)

During the one-hour tour, riders glide down winding, centuries-old streets, passing sites such as Market House and the homes of three Declaration of Independence signatories. After pausing to see the brick-and-stone façade of the Maryland State House, riders traverse the U.S. Naval Academy grounds to delve into the history of Gate 3 and the occupants of the crypts. Groups follow this same path for the first half of the two-hour tour, which eventually leaves historic downtown for Murray Hill, where they glide past opulent waterfront homes and limbo beneath low-hanging streetlights. Riders then explore the local park before heading to the historic city dock. At each stop along the tour, guides expound on the lives of those who lived there. Before each tour or rental session, staff teach customers how to drive, steer, and stay balanced on their segways, and equip them with mandatory helmets, bottled water, and earpieces for listening to the guide or piping in arena-rock anthems.

SegZone Tours

Committing their enterprise to eco-friendly tourism, the women at SegZone Tours guide visitors through the historic streets of Annapolis, along the city waterways of Dover, and around the track at Dover International Speedway—all aboard segways. For groups or private parties, tour leaders can also focus excursions on local gardens, architecture, and wildlife in areas often unreachable by car or paraglider. They also guide themed seasonal tours, such as rides along haunted-house routes or past holiday-light displays. With an eye toward safety, staff members always provide thorough instruction on riding before tours or rentals, though they often give customers license to race or argue over whose segway would look better with flames painted on the side. When not leading guided excursions for customers or school groups, the team organizes corporate team-building events as well as indoor obstacle courses for recreation.

The Groupon Guide to: Blowing Kisses

Any love-struck fool can form a crude pucker and exhale over an open palm, but it takes a true master to pull off any of these advanced kiss-blowing maneuvers:

  • The Train Whistle
  • The Heart-Shaped Puff
  • The Over-the-Shoulder Bolder Smolder
  • The Taste the Rainbow (Skittles trickle out)
  • The Take Back JK Here You Go Don’t Cry
  • The Silent but Deadly but Romantic
  • The Indecent Proposal (blows wedding ring directly onto finger)

Have you ever blown anyone a kiss? Not like this, I bet.
