$75 for a Segway Tour of Historic Napa for Two ($150 Value)

Guests zoom through picturesque cityscapes as they learn interesting anecdotes and trivia about the history of Napa on guided Beyond Wine Tours. The two-hour tours start at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily.

Segway Napa

Segway Napa explores the celebrated viticulture and hidden gems spread across Napa Valley's towns and farmland, boosting guests along on high-tech segways. Before embarking on two-wheeled journeys through the countryside or city, guides instruct guests in the proper use of their gyroscopic steed, from how to control acceleration to safely disarming the self-destruct mechanism. After learning pedestrian etiquette and the intuitive controls of their ride, visitors zip around at speeds of up to 12 mph, covering long distances of small-town scenery and blue skies without losing their breath or straining their muscles. Guided tours wend through the wineries, geysers, and Old West attractions of Napa, whereas rentals let adventurers set out on their own for flat all-day fees.

The Groupon Guide to: Famous Hats

Every historical figure of any significance wore a now instantly recognizable hat, synonymous with their name:

  • The Napoleon Hat: Military bicorn, worn side to side or "athwart" to serve as a better perch for enlisted falcons
  • The Benjamin Franklin Hat: Small brass beanie with a large conductive spire jutting out of it, topped with a small eyelet for tethering a kite
  • The Davy Crockett Hat: Famously a strict vegetarian, Crockett's "coonskin" was actually just a matted blob of reeds and buffalo chips that he moistened hourly from his canteen
  • The Hercules Hat: Just a minotaur skull

Honorable Mention: Jughead's "hat" from the Archie comics is actually a crown (?) made of gray paper (?) with miscellaneous shapes affixed to it. Details remain vague because it is proven that overscrutinizing Jughead's hat makes you go insane.

Which historical figure had the most famous hat? The answer may surprise you.
