Beachwear is encouraged at Señor Frog’s, but the only swimmers in sight are floating above the bar. Their bikini-clad bottoms poke through the centers of inner tubes, making visitors wonder if the restaurant has taken a dip in the ocean. Luckily, this scene is meant to elicit giggles, just like the brightly colored signs that plaster the tables, walls, and ceiling. These banners call out to diners, enticing them to let loose, order a margarita, and see how crazy a night at Treasure Island can get. On many nights, DJs provide a live soundtrack for the revelry as shot girls circulate with tequila as heady as a Hydra-turned-sommelier.
To fuel the evening’s adventures, Señor Frog’s offers a hearty lineup of Mexican and American eats. The Mexican menu showcases items like flaming fajitas and fresh fish tacos. Burgers and barbecue fill the American side of the menu with a picnic vibe that pairs well with a homestyle dessert such as brownies à la mode.

“!st I wanna say I was part of a very large group that went there to celebrate a special occasion. We decided to go there because year ago we did the same thing and was very satisfied. This time on the other hand there were 2 hostesses that were just not working with us in regards to seating and splitting up the bills. Then when I showed up after my group they tired to sit me outside, when I told them I was with the group they said oh there is a 45 minute wait, when there clearly plenty of tables available. They basically scolded us for not making reservations on a Monday nite and made it seem like our party of about 40 was a bother for taking up a section of the restaurant. Somehow we ended up getting a table, not from the hostess by the way and our server was excellent. She was pleasant, and was checking up on us and worked with us with our bill with no problem. (8 of us, 3 families so 3 bills) The food itself was good except for the guacamole. It was very dark in color and tasted awful. We should have returned it and said something but we didn't. The entertainment was great and the kids had a great time which was all that mattered. That is the only reason we went there and stayed.”
“Good food. You can bring kids during dinner time. Friendly staff and good music. ”
